The world's first ice cream arcade
What if you could race a car or punch a character every time you lick your ice cream? Merrython is a one of a kind gaming experience that made this a reality.
Visitors could connect their real ice cream cones to the Merrython arcade machine, and compete against each other with how fast they lick their ice creams.
Every lick was counted and translated into in-game data using custom food-grade sensors that we built to sit discreetly inside the ice cream cones.
Using the input of licks, we created an array of games in-house. Players could choose from competitive player versus player modes as well as collaborative co-op games.
With the Merrython arcade experience, we transformed an ordinary NIC ice cream parlour into an extraordinary gaming destination for people of all ages.
